Pace Setters FC of Oyo were crowned champions of Osogbo Centre of the Nigeria Nationwide League One Division Three at the Osogbo Township stadium on Thursday after they piped Junosa FC of Edo 1-0 on the final match day 4.

Both sides played with power and intensity but the Ibadan based side edge out through Abdulrasheed Ishola’s goal in the 33rd minutes of the encounter despite missing the chance of doubling his side’s lead from the spot in the 50th minutes.

His goal was all that was needed to claim the victory over the Edo boys and gave them promotion to the Nigeria Nationwide League One Division Two.

After the final fixture of the Lafia Centre, Maitumbi FC of Niger lost 2-3 to FC Dugabe while Paiko FC claimed a 3-2 win over ISS FC in the relegation match. Dugabe FC has gain promotion while ISS FC relegated to state league.

Earlier on Thursday at the Umuahia Centre (Matchday 2) final fixture , Good Soccer FC battled Fatai dragon FC to a 0-0 energetic game at full time only for Fatai dragon FC to edge Good Soccers FC on goal difference. The Dragons of Edo at the champions of Umauahia centre and have gain promotion to the NLO Division Two
