Nigerian youngster and VFL Wolfsburg striker, Victor Osimhen finally made his long-awaited debut in the German Bundesliga on Saturday, 13th May, 2017.

The 19-year-old who was the highest goal scorer in the 2017 edition of the FIFA U17 World Cup, joined the Bundesliga side after considering all options available to him as he was courted by top clubs in Europe, which jostled for the opportunity to grow the youngster.
After joining Wolfsburg, Osimhen rose through the ranks but his development and subsequent graduation to the senior side were hampered after he picked a major injury which saw him sit out of games this season after being included in the squad by his manager.
Osimhen finally got that chance when he came on as a substitute in the 60th minute of their Bundesliga match against visiting Borussia Monchengladbach, a game which ended 1-1.
