Super Eagles striker Kelechi Promise Iheanacho came off the bench to score for Manchester City in their 5-1 win over Championship outfit, Huddersfield Town FC in an FA Cup round of 16 replay game at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

Iheanacho scored his seventh goal of the season after being on the sidelines for seven weeks for the Citizens. He came on for Sergio Aguero in the 79th minute and scored City’s fifth goal of the game in injury time.

A brace from Sergio Aguero and goals from Leroy Sane, Pablo Zabaleta and Iheanacho sealed a comfortable win for Manchester City after Harry Bunn had shot the visitors into the lead.

The Super Eagles forward, who has been called up for this month’s international friendlies against Burkina Faso and Senegal, replaced Sergio Aguero in the 79th minute of the encounter and made it 5-1 for the hosts.

City set up a clash against Middlesbrough at the Riverside in the quarter-finals of the competition on Saturday 11th March, 2017.
