Akwa United in-form midfielder, Alhassan Ibrahim will miss this weekend’s home match against Sunshine Stars of Akure due to suspension.
Alhassan has accumulated five yellow cards in twelve matches and will miss the game on Sunday.
According to the LMC rules, An accumulation of 5 yellow cards results in a one match suspension.
The midfielder who has scored five goals in twelve marches was booked in the games against Katsina United (away), Gombe United (away), Enyimba International (away) Nasarawa United (away) and El Kanemi Warriors (home).
It will be the first time this season that Alhassan Ibrahim will not start a match for the Promise Keepers.
