Watford’s Nigeria international striker Odion Ighalo has said his EPL club Watford deserved at least a draw against Manchester United on Saturday.

“We didn’t deserve to lose the game to Manchester United. Though we didn’t play so good in the first half, we did much better in second half and deserve at least a point in the game,” he lamented.

“The result didn’t reflect the play, but we still thank God. “Manchester United are a big team and teams not as big as them tend to have some problems playing them at the start, but we were much composed and played better in the second half.”

Odion Ighalo was brought down for penalty which was taken and scored by his strike partner Troy Deeney. Watford lost 2-1.
