Nigeria U17 star Chukwueze whose 25 sec goal vs Chile is Tournament’s 3rd-fastest has revealed that he tries to base his game on Bayern Munich winger – Arjen Robben.
“I know I did well today (three days ago – 21st of October), but I still have a lot of work to do to improve,” said Chukwueze, a product of the Diamond Football Academy.
“I try to base my game on that of Arjen Robben, who can run with the ball at speed, score goals and set them up too. I want to be an all-round player like him.
“It wasn’t the perfect game by any means. I think we can play better if we work on our concentration.”
The Golden Eaglets player Samuel Chukwueze also talked up a move to the English Premier League and hopes to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Awoniyi and Iheanacho.
Nigeria lost 2-1 to Croatia 12:00am midnight, with Victor Osimhen scoring his fourth goal of the tournament and Nigeria’s consolation goal in the game.
