Ace Football Academy, an academy known for the reputation of producing young football talents for the countries youth national teams (both Flying Eagles and Golden Eagles) will be taking six Nigerian football players to Turkey to start up a football career.
Resulting from a selection process in the last tournament organised by the Kaduna based academy in June 2015, twenty four (24) players were picked at the 3 days 10 teams tournament. Six (6) of which will be heading for Turkey where they shall prove their skill with a possibility of signing a professional contract soon.
According to the team manager of the academy, Muritala Mohammed, the boys will leave for Turkey on Friday.
Below are the list of the players that made the first batch of 6 players on the trip:
Saheed Abdulganiyu -Ace Football Academy Under 20-, Peter Obochi -Ace Football Academy Under 23, Joshua Garba -Boro United-, Dalandi Sulieman -KFA Ilorin-, Kingsley Obiekwe -El Cozero-, Lawal Shehu Giwa -Kaduna United-.
The team manager also said the second batch shall be leaving anytime in October. In his words, there will be a repeat of the tournament next year January to expose those young talents to professional and world acclaimed scouts and open a better oppurtunity of playing football at the highest level at a young age.
