Imama Amapakabo has joined Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri on a one year deal.

The club announced via its official twitter handle [@Elkanemifc] on Sunday that the former Rangers International gaffer will be at the helm of affairs in the North-Eastern club.

The coach, who won the Nigeria Professional Football League with Rangers in 2016, will be officially presented to the public on Tuesday at the club’s secretariat in Maiduguri.

The Port-Harcourt-born tactician has been working with the Super Eagles since he was relieved of his job at the 2016 Champions and was part of the technical crew of the Super Eagles that came second at the just concluded WAFU CUP in Ghana.
