Katsina United Chairman Aminu Balele Kurfi has promised improvements after his side escaped relegation from the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL.
The Changi Boys were the only team that didn’t relegate among the newly promoted sides as Remo Stars, Gombe United and ABS FC all suffered relegation back to the Nigeria National League (NNL)
The football administrator said his side would improve greatly and that the management has begun preparation ahead of next season.
“There’s no gainsaying that we have achieved the target we set for ourselves in our debut season. Now we have started working ahead of next season and by the grace of God we will achieve something that is far better than this past season.
“Preparation has started as per where and when will start our pre-season tour. We will make that known to the public after we would have finalized our plans” he concluded
Katsina United finished 16th on the NPFL log with 52 points from 38 games.
