After the conclusion of the Northern Conference in midweek which Yobe Desert Stars got promoted for the first time since 2002 alongside Kwara United, attention will now be shifted to the Southern Conference where no team has been officially promoted.

Conference leaders Heartland, after the disappointing draw at home to Go-round FC in Owerri will be in Abeokuta to face Gateway United in one of the games of match day 31. Second placed Go-round FC will entertain Warri Wolves in Omoku.

In Brass, Bayelsa United will be looking to close the gap between them and the top two when they clash with Abia comets while Delta Force will be buoyed by the point picked at Papilo FC on Wednesday as they host Osun United.

Crown FC will begin their life in Ijebu-ode with a game against Papilo FC, First Bank FC and My People FC will be slugging it out in the Lagos derby in  a relegation six-pointer and AS Racines will look  to pull away from the relegation zone when they host Akwa Starlets.
