The Nigeria Football Federation have officially confirmed Ola Aina’s eligibility for Nigeria’s World Cup qualifier against Cameroon on Monday evening.
The Chelsea loanee can now make his international debut, after FIFA approved his request for change of association, having represented the youth teams of England in the past.
Nigerian Federation posted on Twitter on Sunday morning : ”@Aina2Ola is available for selection against Cameroon tomorrow after being cleared by FIFA. #SoarSuperEagles #CMRNGA”.
Aina, 20, has played in the right-back position but can also play at center back, left back and wing-back.

The former England U19 skipper has made 12 interceptions and successfully completed 17 of his attempted 21 tackles so far this season, and made it into a squad of whoscored.com’s best players of the past week in the English Championship.
