Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and League Bloggers Award (LBA) ambassador, Victor Ezeji got a bouquet of flowers, a club jersey and a chant from the fans on his return to former club, Club Africain of Tunisia.

The veteran striker who retired from active football after playing 20 seasons in the NPFL, travelled to Tunisia to watch the first group game of Nigeria based Rivers United FC in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

After being presented with the bouquet of flowers and a club jersey, the fans present in the 60,000 capacity stade chanted his name for a little while.

The ex-Enyimba, Sharks, Dolphins and Heartland striker had a short stinct at the Tunisian based club between 2007 and 2008.
