Enyimba FC defender Oluwadamilare Ojo believes that his teammates have the ‘experience’ to improve in the second half of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

Enyimba are seventh on the league table with 28 points from 19 games, five points away from continental qualification position, but the former Kwara United player is of the opinion that the club have prepared well in the mid-season break to get the much-needed results for a finish that befits the club’s status.

“The second round of the league comes with it serious contest amongst the clubs participating in the league but we are focused. We’ve got the experience and the right personnel to get the results,” Ojo told Goal.

“Preparation is ongoing, it’s a continuous thing and we are set.

“We have been training and haven’t been in any sort of camping but the purpose and focus are clear. The target is to pick as many points as we can,” he concluded.

The People’s Elephants have struggled to pick points on the road this season, contrary to their form two seasons ago which saw them clinch the league title for a record seventh time.
