The Flying Antelopes are not giving up in their bid to land the forward who is without a club.
Rangers International FC will make one last attempt to sign one of the hottest prospect in the Nigerian League in 2016, Chisom Egbuchulam.
A formal handover to the new board of the Flying Antelopes is expected to take place on Thursday after which a final attempt to sign Egbuchulam will be made.
A close source confirmed that an offer is in place for Eguchulam with a Swedish club and a decision has to be taken within 48 hours.
“Rangers will make a final attempt to sign Chisom Egbuchulam by Friday but it is obvious that he will make a decision on a deal to join a Swedish club who are currently in a pre-season in Asia,” the source told Goal.
“There will be a formal hand over to the new board of Rangers on Thursday and they will approach their sponsor to see if they can meet the requirement to sign Egbuchulam.”
Rangers International FC without Egbuchulam sit 12th on the NPFL log with six points from available 15 points.
