Nigerian Champions and continental representatives at the CAF Champions League have been promised a whopping N1m for every goal they score in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

This promise was made by Mr Charles Ugwu, an ardent fan of the Flying Antelopes, before their departure for the game from Enugu as an incentive for the club to hit the ground running in a bid to go far on this year’s tournament, their first continental show in a very long while.

Rangers International FC have been struggling to replicate the form that saw them win the Nigeria Professional Football League over three long decades but their charismatic coach, Imama Amapakabo remains optimistic of a rediscovery of that title winning form.

Enugu Rangers travel to Jeune Sportif Saoura of Algeria for the first leg scheduled to hold on Friday night with the return leg billed for next weekend.
