The management, officials, coaching staff and players of Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Mighty Jets FC of Jos have congratulated the management, coaching staff and players of Plateau United for their beautiful run in the current campaign of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), which has seen them occupy the top spot on the table after eight games.
In a statement released by the Club, through its Media Officer, Mbum Ferdinand, the Chairman of the Club, Chief Alexander Noel Wukari said he is overwhelmed with joy each time he is outside of Plateau State and People talk glowingly of Plateau State largely due to the efforts of Plateau United in Nigerian Football and that makes him to extensively appreciates the value of Sports as a factor for image laundering.
The Chairman also congratulates the Technical Adviser of the team, Kennedy Boboye, for winning the January Award for Coach of the Month by League bloggers and also One of the Players of Plateau United, Forward Kabiru Umar, who won nomination in the Player of the month Category,
Chief Wukari has urged every Citizen of Plateau State to emulate the Plateau United spirit and Continue to give the image of the State the best possible publicity by being the best in everything they do in every part of the world.
Chief Wukari above all praised the efforts of the General Manager of the Club, Pius Henwan, for his managerial expertise and urged the entire team to continue with their good work as the time for Plateau fans to enjoy continental football is now.
Chief Wukari concluded by saying Players, Officials and Management would always be live at the Stadium to support Plateau United in all their games, particularly the home games at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos.
Plateau United are currently topping the log of the NPFL with 17 points after eight games, losing only their last game narrowly 2-1 to Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State on Sunday.
