Super Eagles defender and Chelsea loanee Kenneth Josiah Omeruo is happy to have finally hit target to help his Turkish elite league side Alanyaspor win 4-1 over Adanaspor after five years of goal drought.
The last time Omeruo scored a goal was when on loan at Dutch side ADO Den Haag in 2012. He found the back of the net in a Dutch first division league 2-1 loss to VVV Venlo.
The former Middlesbrough player has scored only four times since the start of his career in 2009.
He took to his official Instagram to express his joy at scoring the goal that came in the 37th minute of the encounter on Saturday.
Omeruo has featured 16 times for Alanyaspor this season..
