Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye is on the verge of making a move to Chinese Super League, Tianjin TEDA before the close of the Chinese transfer window according to ESPN FC.
The Nigeria national team captain, John Obi Mikel completed his move to Tianjin TEDA during the January window from Chelsea after been frozen out of the first team at Stamford Bridge by manager Antonio Conte. The Chinese club now hope to add Ideye to their list of stars from Europe.
The 28-year-old forward has been at Olympiakos since 2015 after a disappointing one season at Premier League side, West Brom, despite being their record signing after joining from Dynamo Kyiv.
But the former Ocean Boys and Bayelsa United striker was instrumental to Olympiakos winning the Greek Super League last season scoring 10 league goals in 23 games played. He has started the 2016/17 season on a very high note as well finding the net 15 times in 29 appearances, bringing is total goal tally at the Greek giants to 28.
