African football legends like Ivory Coast’s Didier Drogba, Cameroon’s Samuel Eto’o and Ghana’s Abedi Pele are to feature in a match to raised funds for charity, Kanu Heart Foundation.
West African football legends are to play against their South African counterparts on April 8 as disclosed by Super Eagles legend and Nigeria’s most decorated footballer, Kanu Nwankwo on Wednesday.
Former stars expected to feature, according to Kanu, are: Abedi Pele, Samuel Etoo, Didier Drogba, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Daniel Amokachi, Tony Yeoboah, Omar Biyick, Andre Kana Biyick, Doctor Khumalu, Eric Tinler, Phil Masinga, Abdullahi Traore, Yussuf Foufana, Omam Ben Sallah, Michael Essien,Charles Akunnor, Pape Diouf. And all mentioned people have agreed to feature in the two legged match.
Proceeds from the matches will be donated to Nelson Mandela Foundation and Kanu Heart Foundation..
