The qualifying draws of the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN), a tournament for the best nations in Africa, to be played by footballers plying their trade in their countries, will be done in Cairo, Egypt on April 9.

This was revealed in a tweet by the media officer of the Super Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye on Monday.

The home based Eagles will learn who they will go through to reach the group stages to reach their third consecutive African Nations Championship, popularly known as CHAN. Their best finish was 3rd in their first outing in 2014, while they crashed out of the group stages last year.

Nigeria is in Zone West B where 3 tickets are available. Kenya will host this edition after failing to host it last year due to logistics problems. Democratic Republic of Congo are the defending Champions after beating Mali in the final in Kigali last year.
