Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has the best goals-to-minutes ratio in the history of the Premier League after scoring for Manchester City in their 3-0 away win over Hull City on Boxing Day.

The 20-year-old scored his sixth goal this season after doubling the lead for City at the KCOM Stadium. He put David Silva’s assist into an empty net.

Iheanacho’s goal means that he has scored every 96 minutes for the Citizens. And it is only his second season after making his debut last term under Manuel Pellegrini.

Another remarkable feat is his 12 league goals scored from 19 shots on target.

Man City are seven points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, who are on a 12-game winning streak that has seen them sprint clear from other title contenders.
