Nigeria U23 coach Samson Siasia has called up 16 foreign based players for November’s Rio Olympics qualifiers in Senegal.
Some interesting call ups in the squad include Anglo Nigerian striker Uche Ikpeazu, who plays as a striker for Watford in Premier League, but currently on loan at League one club – Port Vale.
The 6 ft 3 in 20 year old striker has scored 5 goals in 14 matches for Port Vale this season.

The other invited foreign based players are Azubuike Okechukwu, Umar Aminu (Turkey), Junior Ajayi (Tunisia), Moses Simon, Wilfred Ndidi (Belgium), Dele Alampasu, Shehu Abdullahi, Stanley Amuzie (Portugal, Uche Ikpeazu, Solomon Otabor, Alex Iwobi (England), Paul Onauchu (Denmark), Isaac Success (Spain) and Kingsley Madu (Slovakia).
