Head coach of the Golden Eaglets, Emmanuel Amuneke, has hailed striker Victor Osimeh for his superb performances at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup underway in Chile, which has seen him score seven goals in four matches.

Osimhen living in his dream and indeed one of the future stars, has remarkably scored a total of 45 goals in all matches for the coach Amuneke-tutored side, since he broke into the U17 team, when he scored a brace in a friendly in June 2014.

“Victor is the kind of player any coach would be proud to have in his team because he is always ready to give his best for the common good of the team,” noted Amuneke, the 1994 CAF African Footballer of the Year.

“It is not my style to talk about a particular player in a team but Victor gets his job done for the team.

The striker who sits atop of the scoring chart of the ongoing U17 world finals in Chile with seven goals, will be aiming to add to his goal-tally when Nigeria take on old foes Brazil in the quarter finals, as the Golden Eaglets seeks to defend their world title.
