Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has promised football loving Nigerians that the team will improve in the coming days after they defeat arch-rivals Cameroon 3-0 in a friendly match in Brussels on Sunday.

“It was a very good game for us. We did well and it served the purpose because we are gradually coming back to the team Nigerians want us to be, which we also want to be, we understand ourselves better being a new team. We all put in our best to achieve the result,” Musa stated.

“The victory is for the team’s fans for always being there for us. They should keep supporting us as we will keep working hard to make them and the entire country proud.”

Efe Ambrose opened the floodgate for Eagles before half time, combined with goals from Moses Simon and Odion Ighalo in the second half as coach Sunday Oliseh recorded his second win after four games in charge.
