Enyimba head coach Kadiri Ikhana insists that the race for the Nigeria Professional Football League title is still a tight one despite his team five points clear of second placed Warri Wolves.
The former Kano Pillars gaffer believes that the last five matches will determine if Enyimba will become champions at the end of the season.
“To be honest the race for the title remains very tight. Yes, we have a five-point lead at the top but there are still five matches to go, and other teams are in the race too. You know it is always difficult when we near the end of the season as it is now because even the struggling teams will not be afraid to play their all.
“Yes we are in the driving seat but the title has not been won, and we know that and will not let down our guard just yet because we still have five tough games to play,” Ikhana said..
