Didier Drogba’s reign as the MLS Player of the Month could soon be coming to an end.

Portland Timbers forward Fanendo Adi currently leads Drogba by just less than four percent in the vote for October’s award as of Tuesday afternoon.

Adi currently has claimed 35.62 percent of the vote while the Montreal Impact forward, who was September’s clear winner, has 31.97 percent, reports  http://www.mlssoccer.com/.

Fanendo Adi has scored 6 goals in 5 games and also finished the season as the highest-scoring Nigerian in MLS. One more goal than compatriot Obafemi Martins
