Nigerian wonder kid Kelechi Iheanacho got his first competitive start for Manchester City on Wednesday night and found the back of the net in a 5-1 win over Crystal Palace in a Capital One Cup match.
Iheanacho scored City’s third goal of the game in the 58th minute and assisted Kevin de Bruyne in scoring the second goal of the encounter just before the interval. A wonderful performance which won him the Man of the Match accolade.
The 19-year-old continues to impress and justify manager Manuel Pellegrini giving him 6 appearances has a substitute in the English Premier League.
This makes it 2 goals in all competition for the striker. He first, coincidentally, was also scored against Crystal Palace in an EPL match..
