According to media reports, the 2016 CHAN qualifier between Burkina Faso and Nigeria could be rescheduled for a later date due to the recent political instability in the country.

The first leg qualifier was scheduled to take place in Port Harcourt on October 18 with the return leg a week later in Ouagadougou.

With the latest development, CAF will have no choice but to reschedule the match for a later date.

The overall winners will qualify for the fourth edition of the African Nations Champions in Rwanda next year.
