Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh will not be part of the coaching crew when the home-based Eagles confront Burkina Faso in the first leg qualifier of the 2016 African Nations Championship [CHAN] because he is ill.
NFF’s secretary general Dr. Mohammed Sanusi told Sportinglife that the coach has asked to be left out of the qualifier because of his ill-health.
Assistant coaches Jean-Francois Losciuto and Salisu Yusuf will take charge of the team when they hosts their opponents at the Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Saturday at 4pm.
Former Enyimba and Kano Pillars gaffer Yusuf has been training with the home-based Eagles since last week. The winners of the two-legged ties qualify for the 4th edition of the CHAN to be staged in Rwanda next year.
