Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose has expressed his gratitute to coach Sunday Oliseh for inviting him back to the national team after he was frozen out of the team for a year.
“It was not an easy game, but we play to the tactics the coach told us. I bless God for coming back into the team with a goal after a long time and I appreciate the coach for giving me the chance to play for my country again,” said Ambrose

The Celtic defender last don the Super Eagles jersey in September 6, 2014 in a 2015 AFCON qualifier, which Nigeria suffered a shocking 3-2 defeat to Congo in which he scored a goal.
