Super Falcons defender Ngozi Ebere has signed for Paris Saint German Women’s team on a two-year contract until 2017.
The 24-year old previously played for Nigeria Women Football League side Rivers Angels and was part of Nigeria’s team at the 2015 FIFA Women’s Cup in Canada.
In her words after signing the dotted lines: “I’m here to give my very best and win trophies. I am very motivated by this new challenge here in Paris. This is a dream come true.”
Coach Farid Benstiti was delighted to have Ebere in his team, describing her as a player with huge potential and plenty of qualities.
“Ebere is a Nigerian left-back. She will offer another option to Laure Boulleau, who has played a lot of football in recent seasons. She has a huge potential and plenty of qualities that she showed during the World Cup. She will need a certain time to adapt, but her quality will see her ready very quickly,” coach Farid said.
