Vice Captain of the Super Eagles has sent a condolence message on behalf of the whole team to captain Vincent Enyeama on the death of his mother.
Enyeama called in to excuse himself from tomorrow’s AFCON qualifier against Tanzania in Dar es Salaam because he is presently in mourning over his mother’s demise and has been replaced by Femi Thomas by coach Sunday Oliseh.
Ahmed Musa, who is second in command to Enyeama is expected to don the captain’s armband against the Taifa Stars has led the team today in sending a condolence message to the Lille of France goalkeeper.
“On behalf of myself, the team and Coaches because indeed we are one family, we send our condolence to Vincent (Enyeama) for the death of his mother, and wish him all the best. We pray Vincent and his entire family gets through this difficult time,” Musa told FootballLive.ng..
