Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia says he plans to overhaul his team ahead of the Africa U23 Nations Cup in Senegal, which serves as qualifiers to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Speaking after the 3-1 defeat to Burkina Faso in the semi finals of the men’s football of the ongoing All Africa Games, Siasia stated that he is happy the worst has happened at the Games and he has learnt his mistakes.

“We will make corrections after the All-Africa Games. I plan to travel to talk to some players I have already penciled down, then hopefully, the team should be assembling in first week of October to prepare for the Africa U23 Cup of Nations.”

“Certainly, some of the players I brought to Congo Brazzaville will have to give way.”

Nigeria are pitted alongside Egypt, Algeria and Mali in Group B at the second edition of the Africa U23 Cup of Nations that has be scheduled for 28 November – 12 December across two cities in Senegal.
