Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has expressed his support for the team ahead of this weekend AFCON 2017 qualifier against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam.

The SS Lazio midfielder will play no part in the clash after he was sent off in Super Eagles 2-0 win over Chad in Kaduna on June 6.

Onazi took to his Twitter handle to encourage his colleagues and expressed his support.

“I wish my teammates all the best as they start preparation for the most important qualifying game against Tanzania,” Onazi wrote on his Twitter handle.

“Really sorry for the red card in the last match against Chad in Kaduna.

“I will be the number one fan of the Super Eagles when we play Tanzania and I will pray for victory which is the most important.

“I will join you guys as soon as I serve my two match suspension.” He tweeted.
