Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh has said that he is happy with the goalless draw his team played out with the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in Saturday’s 2017 AFCON qualifier in Dar es Salaam.

It was coach Oliseh’s first competitive match in charge of the team and despite the result, the Eagles gaffer says he is proud of the first point from his maiden outing while admitting that his team struggled against the hosts.

“We were disorganized in the 1st half but fared better in the second.” Oliseh began in his post-match reaction.

He continued: “In the second half, we organized ourselves better but lacked that quality supply from midfield to attack. We will get better.”

“We have to continue to build. We barely had 2 good days of training before this match so I am happy with the 1 point,” Coach Oliseh said.
