Former gaffer of the Under 20 National team, Manu Garba has been appointed as the coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Giwa FC, the Jos-based club have announced.


He takes over from Aminu Musa who resigned from his position on Wednesday, citing irreconcilable positions on the state of the club with proprietor Ambassador Chris Giwa.

Coach Garba, as reported by the club, was introduced to the team on Wednesday evening.

Giwa are currently placed fifth on the Nigeria Premier league table with 46 points from 29 matches and are contenders for one of the continental tickets.
