Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, has confirmed to all fans of the national team that Liverpool and Nigerian-born youngster Jordon Ibe has chosen to play for England ahead of his fatherland.
Oliseh took to his official twitter account to break the news:
Jordon Ibe's Family Informed me by a Telephone call, that He was giving priority to an England call up.We wish them well.

It will be recalled that Oliseh traveled to England in August after putting pen to paper confirming himself coach of the Super Eagles to convince some of the Nigerian born players yet to don the country’s jerseys but doing well at their clubs. Ibe was one of the coach’s top targets but he did not get a convincing answer from the young Reds player.
Jordon Ibe has become a regular for the Merseyside club and stands a good chance of playing for the Three Lions and will not let the opportunity pass him by..
