Super Eagles striker, Odion Jude Ighalo scored to give Watford FC their first win this English Premier League season when the Hornets beat Swansea City 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Ighalo who just recently signed a new five year contract for his club that gained promotion to the Premier League from the Championship at the end of last season scored a minute to the hour mark.
The goal which was assisted by strike partner Troy Deeney is Ighalo’s second goal of the EPL season having scored on his top flight league debut against Everton 3 weeks ago.
Watford were reduced to 10 men in the 64th minute when Valon Behrami was given the marching order by the centre referee but Ighalo’s club side held on to the last minute to claim all three points to the excitement of the home fans.
