Nigeria will take on their rivals Cameroon in the semi finals of the women’s football event of the ongoing All-Africa Games.

The Super Falcons finished as runner-up to Cote d’Ivoire in Group A with two wins and a defeat.

The Indomitable Lionesses are defending champions having won the event at the 2011 edition in Maputo beating Ghana 1-0 in the final.

The match will serve as a repeat of the 2014 Africa Women Cup of Nations final (formerly Africa Women Championship) in Namibia where the Falcons won 2-0 courtesy of Desire Oparanozie and Asisat Oshoala goals.

In the other semi final clash, Les Elephantes of Cote d’Ivoire will battle the Black Queens of Ghana for a place in the match.
