Nigeria’s Dream Team VI today qualified for the semi final of the ongoing All Africa Games men’s football tournament after playing out a 1-1 draw with Senegal.

In a closely contested match which produced fair share of the ball possessions between both teams, Dream Team VI had an edge over the Senegalese.

The Nigerian national Under 23 team were left wondering in the dying minutes of the encounter after Ibrahim Keita gave Senegal the lead in the 81st minute, when he capitalised on a misjudge header from Erhun Obanor.

Substitute Mustapha Abdullahi netted a late goal to draw level and also ensure the team finished top of Group B without a defeat.

Both Nigeria and Senegal qualified for the semi finals and will know their opponent tomorrow when Group A matches are concluded.
