Enyimba FC have announced on their official website that their NPFL leading goal scorer, Christian Obiozor is presently suffering from injury and will be out for a further one month.

Obiozor got injured during the Oriental Derby match against Enugu Rangers in Enugu on July 19 where he sustained damage to his left cruciate ligament.

However, Enyimba team doctor, Ferdinand Ajere has confirmed that the former Rangers and Kano Pillars striker will be out for 4 weeks within which he will undergo treatments and will hopefully be back in action for the match against El-Kanemi Warriors in September.

Obiozor has scored 6 goals for the Aba Elephants since joining from Kano Pillars during the league season making the 20-year-old Enyimba’s leading scorer in the NPFL.
