Super Eagles forward, Babatunde Michael, who newly signed a year deal with top Ukrainian side, FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk has said that he is ready to play for the Europa League finalists of last season.
Michael switched Ukraine clubs after he was not been paid his wages at former club, Volyn. And promises that he’s ready to help the club in their quest to do better in the league.
“I’m very happy to be here. All things here are very good. All people are professionals,” he told the club’s official website.
“If I’m ready to play against Shakhtar tomorrow? Of course, I’m ready!
“Football is my job, and I like it very much! If I’m sleeping and somebody wakes me up, I’m ready to play!” Michael concluded.
Dnipro, currently 7th on the table with 5 points, will play their 5th match of the Ukraine Premier League away to Shaktar Donestk today.
