Late goals from Matheus Nascimento and Yevhen Seleznyov got the win for Dnipro yesterday as they beat Ukrainian Premier League runners-up, Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0 at Stadion Chornomorets as Nigeria’s Babatunde Michael marked his debut and made his 81st appearance in the league.
As reported by FootballNaija.com, Babatunde completed his move from Volyn to Dnipro 2 days ago and said he was ready to play in Donetsk. The Nigerian signed a one-year deal with last season’s UEFA Europa League finalists.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder came off the bench in the 64th minute and both goals scored by his side came after his introduction to the game.
